Gilis Lombok Island
Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three small islands or dyke located at the northwest of Lombok. Trawangan is also the only dyke which height above sea level is significant. With a length of 3 km and 2 km wide, Trawangan population of about 800 inhabitants. Among the three gili, Trawangan has the facilities for tourists of the most diverse; shop "Tir Na Nog" claiming that Trawangan is the smallest island in the world is his Irish bar. The most dense population is east of the island.

Common means of transportation are bicycles (rented by local people for the tourists) and Cidomo, simple horse-drawn carriage which are common in Lombok. To travel to and from the third dyke, people usually use motorized boats and speedboats.
Gili Meno is one of three small islands, in addition to Gili Trawangan and Gili Air, which is the area of marine tourism. This place can be reached from Mataram city about 45 minutes drive through the journey overland to Senggigi Beach which berlatarkan stunning views of beach and protected forest. Here there is a bird park which has a collection of rare birds from Indonesia and abroad. White sand and natural. Gili Meno is very limited motor vehicles, as well as the use of electricity.
